Evng. Nwadike Joan Malubia Gwagwalada Coordinator FCT-Abuja

A New Lease on Life with Women Awake
Joining Women Awake on September 18, 2024, changed my life. As a widow of 8 years with 5 children, I’ve faced many challenges, but in just two months, this NGO has brought hope, stability, and genuine care into my home. Under the leadership of Hon. Princess Anazodo, Women Awake has gone beyond words—providing consistent financial support and even ensuring my family had all we needed for Christmas. In a time when many are unsure of their next meal, I am no longer desperate. Unlike other NGOs I’ve worked with, Women Awake gives wholeheartedly and restores dignity to women like me. I am forever grateful to Mama Princess and thank Hon. Mariam for introducing me to this life-changing mission. Long live Women Awake. Long live Mama Princess. Long live humanity.

Mrs. Hauwa Shaaban Nizazo Kwali Area Council Coordinator FCT-Abuja

    “This NGO Saved My Life”

“After my father’s death, I thought my world was over. But then Women Awake stepped in. The support, tasks, and encouragement helped me rise again. Every bank alert felt like a lifeline. I am forever grateful.”

Amina Alhassan Usman Abaji Area Council Coordinator FCT-Abuja

“Leadership, Empowerment, and a New Sense of Purpose”

“My journey with Women Awake began with a simple invitation, but it has evolved into one of the most powerful experiences of my life. As the Leader of Abaji Area Council, I have been entrusted with responsibility, support, and guidance that have brought out the best in me. Through this platform, I have not only grown in leadership and confidence, but I have also seen lives transformed in my community—young women discovering their voices, mothers receiving financial aid, and youth given new direction through purposeful tasks. Our founder, Dr. Barr. Princess Anazodo, is a visionary. Her leadership is not about titles but impact. I’ve received encouragement, training, and tangible support—both financial and material—that helped me support others. One of the most touching moments was receiving funding and food relief at a time my family needed it most. It reminded me that I am not alone.

Chief Mrs. Fatima Ejete Anambra State Coordinator

“A Million Naira Boost That Transformed My Business”

“When I joined Women Awake as the Anambra State Coordinator, I already believed in the power of women supporting women. But I never imagined the level of commitment, sincerity, and generosity I would experience firsthand. The turning point for me was when I received a ₦1,000,000 empowerment fund from our founder and Executive Director, Dr. Barr. Princess Anazodo Awunor. That support wasn’t just a financial gift—it was a powerful message of trust and encouragement. I used the funds to expand my boutique business, stock up on quality items, and uplift my brand. Today, my boutique is thriving. I’ve been able to employ two young women and even support local fashion designers. This one act of kindness has created a ripple effect that continues to impact others in my community. Women Awake is not just an NGO; it is a movement of purpose. Our founder leads with compassion, vision, and unmatched generosity
